The
ADA track wheel exhibits the characteristic "signature" design
of all ADA products: elegant simplicity, easy serviceability,
and outstanding durability.
-
The same wheel
can be used on the front and the back for track riding. Only
the axles are different. Axles can be changed by hand
in one minute.
-
The
rear hub accepts a cog on each side. Change the gearing
just by reversing the wheel in the dropouts.
-
Cogs
are quickly and easily installed in a cassette-like manner.
The cassette locknut is a standard Shimano lockring. No
screwing on or off of cogs.
-
The
front wheel can also be used for road riding. Although it is
marginally heavier than ADA standard road wheels, the track
wheel is ideal for sprinters who need an ultra-stiff wheel
(50% stiffer than standard ADA wheels, which are already one
of the stiffest wheels available).
-
Carbon
fiber rim and spokes. Yellow spokes are standard; black spokes
are optional.
-
Super-smooth
ceramic bearings are optional.
